Someone just told me about this, and they misread it as Trump was conceding. I instantly got up and went to start getting my gear together, but then they were like "wait... I read that wrong"
The rage and hatred I felt toward the left in that single moment, assured me that I will have no problem doing what's necessary when/if the time comes. It was almost as if I was on autopilot, along with a surge of adrenaline.
It's hard to know what your actual reaction will be to something when the time finally comes. I wondered if I actually had the strength and courage to fight for this country if I had to, even though I keep telling myself I do.
Well, I'm not worried any longer. I didn't even have to think about it. It was like a switch was flipped and there was no hesitation, I had complete tunnel vision.
Thankfully, it turned out to be a false alarm, but I now know that I will be ready if the time ever comes.
