The transition team, which is an actual entity, can only take $5k. His campaign can continue taking donations, especially if they earmark it for his re-election campaign.
Campaign funds never go away. Hillary probably still has millions in her accounts.

Nothing will ever cut him off from that, it will just be more indirect.

What are the specifications of the reporting requirements? Are they required to be reported during the transition or afterward?
