If I'm reading this right, pages 4 and 7, his "donations" are limited to $5,000. This may cut him off from the Soros teat. I'm wondering if the begging for donations is to use "donations" as a front for money laundering.

The transition team, which is an actual entity, can only take $5k. His campaign can continue taking donations, especially if they earmark it for his re-election campaign.

Campaign funds never go away. Hillary probably still has millions in her accounts.

I thought he was fundraising specifically for "the transition", though... is there a law against using that for campaign if it was solicited for a different purpose?

I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a legal wall for transparency purposes, so illicit money doesn't try to influence that early. Campaigns are treated as distinct legal/financial entities.

Nothing will ever cut him off from that, it will just be more indirect.
