will ever put a gun to your head and force you to believe. I’m shocked by how angry and hateful atheists get at their fellow pedes who bring up prayer or faith. You are acting exactly like liberals, going in to a post just to hate-reply. It’s sad. All we are doing is praying snd encouraging others to pray. If you don’t want to, that’s fine. There’s no need to harass those who want to. We are all on the same team here.

Where i used to work, a group of people got together by the flagpole every day at lunch. They didn’t demand anyone join them. They didn’t force the company to make prayer mandatory. They just got together and prayed, and everyone else moved on about their day.

There’s no need for the infighting. God bless

It's not very rare at all. I've never seen athiests push their belief.

The obnoxious in every group are more visible. When they are not pushy, you never even know they are atheists unless they are close friends

Both sides equally pushy/not pushy. Christians dont see that Christians are doing it and vice verca.

Havent really met any edgy atheists irl yet, most atheist I've met just dont believe in God, they dont go around try to convert people

Ive met many who sneer, make backhanded comments, and treat religious people like retards.

Unless those religious people are muslims, at which point the athiests cant help but celebrate and blow them immediately.

I have, my daughter and her boyfriend were pretty obnoxious. I guess since she wasn't born yet when I was not religious she would not realize I had not only heard it all before, I had been there. I just ignored it, I used to be young and remember what it was like when I thought I knew everything. At the same time she tells me how awful I am she doesn't even realize one very close friend of mine is also an atheist. He is respectful so we get along great.

It's not so much that atheists push their beliefs, it's that they mock, belittle, and sneer at believers. And there's a LOT of that.

But there are plenty of religious folks who nag, lecture, and relentlessly push their beliefs on others and that's just as destructive.
