That is how i feel at work. It is so frustrating for some i work with to start a conversation with me, only to go down that road so far, and you can see their eyes register their hatred for you making them question their reality. I have come to the point of just saying screw it, i wont reach them. Why bother. Not depressed, not in enjoyment. Just no care at all either way. Wasting my breath.

Do NOT try to talk to NPCs. They aren't just stupid, they are extremely dangerous. They will try to ruin your life.

Yeah especially at work.

Testing to make sure you parrot the correct response? God I fail at those NPC tests sometimes. Other times I just agree and amplify and they can't tell if I'm being serious or not.

agent smith routines are programmed into most npc's, You are having one totally innocent conversation and hit the wrong keywords and they transform into an agent instantly becoming another person until the programming runs its course and releases them back into who they previously were.

These people are followers, best to just do you thing and they will follow when the feel uncomfortable. Then they run to you for comfort.

I have noticed fren. It began with the boss talking down to his subortinates in front of others, i finally spoke up when it seemed it all became pointed at me and started affecting my personal life. Not giving any fucks about anyone, but my immediate family.

Half the time they just zone out and go dead-eyes when you get them questioning their entrenched points of view. My father and I have this problem with my aunt. She watches CNN all fucking day and if you tell her CNN is lies or doesn't present all the facts she just zones out.

My mom does this. I tried in the past to tell myself she's just being respectful and polite, but then I started to doubt that and to think that she literally CAN'T argue what I'm saying.

I've seen this. Their eyes just "go away" for a minute, and when they come back, it's like data has been deleted.

it's especially difficult with people you actually care for and have history with, the blatant disregard they have for even the things one would think are in 'neutral' territory...

you want to share discoveries and sincerely talk with them, but to no avail and even the few willing to talk just justify everything in some way or another

Totally this. Thankfully no longer have any attatchment to anyone but my family. Only a little over three years at my current employer.

That's when, right after you devastate their reality with some topic, you say "but ANYWAY Karen let's talk about the fly that landed on Pence AMIRITE??"

Yeah....pretty much. Fuckin brain dead. The lot of em

Same here. I sometimes make remarks or mention news articles but far fewer and further in between with every passing day. Now I mostly keep to myself, watch closely and quietly prepare for things to go sideways.

When the hammer finally does fall and the only reason they wake up to reality is because the boot of tyranny comes crashing down on their nuts I will take no pleasure in watching it happen. I'm sure it'll be similar to the feeling you get when one of your friends decides to try his luck with someone twice their size with predictable results

I wont take any pleasure in it. But i kinda hope to be there just say, wish you had listened to me now?

What I particularly dislike about NPCs is their air of moral superiority based on a worldview they are absolutely incapable of logically defending. That is cult level brainwashing.

3
becky21k 3 points ago +3 / -0

its a complex they have, a moral superiority complex. They believe the opinions and beliefs they hold are so superior to anyone else's that no one else deserves to have rights, let alone be listened to or taken seriously.

Yes, but in reality, they are no more than empty husks filled with an inverted self-destructive gaslit ideology that turns them into feral zombies at the slightest contact with the real world.

When an npc follows my logic, it always gets to a point where to believe what I say is correct - they have to accept that the media knowingly lies and intentionally spreads falsehoods. Even if they already somewhat distrust the media, that's still a hell of a red pill to swallow all in one go

they have to accept that the media knowingly lies and intentionally spreads falsehoods.

Yep. It's a step too far for most. It's all "LoL YUo R a CoNSpiRAcY THEoRIst??!?"

Hopeless. "Yes, people that love power are malicious and don't care about you - why is this so hard to believe?"

Thank God i have my faith. I think i would have gone completely nuts by now thinking of how many blue pilled people there are. At this point in my life, I'm saving myself and anyone who God puts in my way. Cant save them all.

At least I'll become a slave and die never truly being happy with the knowledge that others were able to grasp what was happening. I died a PC not an NPC.

I don't engage many people in person but I see it on Facebook and I occasionally engage them there. It's interesting because without fail they repeat the same things over and over, maybe one in ten can actually do something besides call you one of the same four or five names. When they do try it's usually repetition of the same nonsense and when called on it invariably eventually they call you names, or just block you.

One person I know IRL is like this - and she's a lawyer. She refuses to engage her mind, and keeps reposting stuff by this Jay Kuo person. I looked at that guy's profile and he apparently never finished law school, and became a play director. She believes this guy over people like Powell and Sekulow. What?
