If you're referring to something I said in the past. I was not talking about "optics." I was talking about the fact taht people are human and can be influenced by which group they think is going to upset the apple cart the most... who they're most scared of. Ideally, people wouldn't be swayed by such things... but sometimes they are... just like this woman and her family were bullied and threatened into giving Biden is "transition" money.
Optics are important, but they've been against us frankly most of this time... the media makes sure of it. In the end, legality rules the day.
