I think a global constitution is needed similar to how the constitution is without federalism. Originally the United States was similar to the United Nations or the EU where it was just a weak framework and everything else went to the individual states. It would be similar to the original constitution+Bill of rights but outlawing slavery and more protections of free speech from monopoly corporations and more 2nd amendment rights.
