Oftentimes, the ones making threats aren't actually a threat. It's the ones that don't say a word or leave any traces that are more dangerous. Better to take the heat off someone that doesn't deserve it, than having to live with someone being murdered on your behalf.

Besides, it's much worse for Biden et. al to be receiving government funds through fraudulent means, including intimidation and coercion.
