I was honestly concerned for my safety for the first time in my life walking around there, first time in about 20 years.

I waited on line for an hour to vote and when I got to the check in, they didn’t have my name on the roll sheet. I had to fill out a provisional ballot. In 2016 I waited on a line stretching around a city block and for over 2 hours. What could I have done differently?
I don't care that they screw up the city where they live. The problem is many people then leave and vote the same exact way in their new state. Colorado used to be a red state, and then there was a huge influx from California and elsewhere and you get mini California. Same for Arizona and Nevada.

Went to the Statue of Liberty. Going to the boat went past a cop car parked along the docks there, didn't think much of it. Coming back, cops had arrested two diverse young gentlemen and were putting them in the car.
That's about the whole sum of my memories from that trip.
