I don't understand. When Trump picked him everyone loved it. What went wrong and would one be right in blasting him? I wouldn't want to step on the toes of Vets who like the man. Help a pede understand

He helped POTUS beat ISIS but didn’t want to bring troops home from Iraq/Afghanistan. He also apparently brokered a back room deal for Amazon to do some DOD fulfillment
