It shouldn't even be a question to verify things like signatures and proper ballots. It should be instantly available and verifiable? Every mail in ballot must be verifiable. If it isn't, then it can't count. If it can't be determined which are valid, then none must count.

The only reason this is in question, and the answer is tipping to don't verify, is because someone is cheating.

We have lived with Microsoft Windows for 40 years. We have all seen the problems with their code. The back doors, the malware, the viruses, ad infinitum.

Why the fuck is it not alright to MAKE SURE that their was none of this on the individual computers that hooked up to the machines or the servers. At least let us check server logs for Chrissake, and individual laptops hooked up to machines.

What are they hiding?
