TLDR: Republicans still haven't figured out that neither Trump nor the people who voted for him owe the Republican Party a God Damned Thing. The fact that they do, is what helped foster the situation we've had to deal with from the left for the past 4+ years. The Republican establishment are the enablers in this dysfunctional relationship and it's time the child (MAGA) file for emancipation from the two degenerate parents.
Hey Rush. I listened to your podcast today and couldn't help but chuckle a bit about your statement that Trump really should do a rally in Georgia. I have the utmost respect for you and all that you have done for our country. However, I have to respectfully disagree with you on this point. See the thing is, Donald Trump does not owe anything to the Republican Party. He and the MAGA movement that formed around him has long suffered the ineptitude, spinelessness and downright subversiveness of the republican machine. Even in the early days of his term when Republicans held both houses of Congress little was done by them to support the promises Trump made to me and my fellow Americans. And while I am not a resident of Georgia, I would not waste my time showing up at the Georgia runoff election given the pathetic excuse for effort that the establishment Republicans have made to defend our election process. Right now we have a handful of lawyers sifting through the vast mounds of intel sources (both legitimate and misinformation) to try and determine in less than a month what the deep state has built over decades under the noses of that same Republican establishment. So if the Republican establishment truly wants to maintain their hold of the Senate they better give their voter-base in Georgia a reason to believe that their votes will matter. Otherwise why would they show up. Conservative politicians and pundits have bludgeoned their voter-base with the overarching fear that we are "just one election away from the end" for generations. And each time the voters do their job only to be let down by the Republicans they elect. Instead Republican politicians do what they do best. They lose. And they justify this by clutching their pearls and claiming that they are fighting to maintain a higher code. Not only that, but Republicans are either too stupid or self-absorbed to realize the left uses this "morality" to pit republican against republican. And republicans will feast on each other in these situations, stabbing each other in the back in the hopes that somehow they will gain some form of reach-around gratification from a media that despises them. Those in the Maga movement have suffered along with Trump, being called racists, Nazi's, deplorables, etc. While the majority of Republican fence sitters have quietly averted their eyes to our plight. Only a few brave congressman and senators have stepped up to the plate. And those few have been marginalized as well throughout these past four years. Conservative America have fought long and hard to the benefit a Republican establishment that does not work for them.
So no Mr. Limbaugh. With all due respect. President Trump doesn't owe the Republican party damn thing. And neither do the 70+ million MAGA voters that the fence-sitting establishment have left hanging in the wind along with our President.
I honestly think you have captured what most of us are feeling right now. Well done.
Thanks man. Was concerned that it came off as defeatist which was definitely not the intent. Today Rush discussed the situation where a male pede called in yesterday and had a near meltdown over his frustration with the current situation. And that how the leftist are running that clip to demean us even further. So far that's the only thing so far that seems close to the libs meltdown in 2016. But they're capitalizing on that to project that reaction on all of us. Meanwhile we are waiting and letting the system play itself out.
Outfuckingstanding!
Exactly. I heard that in the protest rally last week in Georgia, not one elected republican showed up. So fuck them. I am done. Have been voting straight ticket for 50 yrs. No more, if they let this fraud stand.
A thing of fucking beauty.
Honestly how the Fuck can Rush not agree ?
I couldn't have written it better myself!
I couldn't agree more. This has gone on long enough. At this point in the game we should be absolutely certain that the GOP Legislatures in the States are backing the President 1000%. But we are not, and that is wrong.
We are keeping the powder dry while this thing plays out. My wife has already given up on the Supreme Court, saying we need to physically throw all the bums out, and elect new bums. I want to see if this so-called SCOTUS Dream Team are coming to play, or to cuck out. Because if they punt, that's it. The party is over. The bums are going out.
Bravo! Well said!
