If they are prematurely destroyed, and most states, even screamingly corrupt NY, require that all ballots/envelopes be held for a minimum of 90 days.
If they are destroyed, they cannot be counted as part of the voter tallies.
The dems are burning everything right now, prefering to lose by lack of voter evidence, rather than being jailed for proof of voting fraud.
I think Trump is letting them burn it down at a local level, knowing that will force a win for him, while it also allows him to go after ALL the international and domestic conspirators for digitally election rigging, which is an act of war for foreigners and treason for US participants.

States rights. Not federal property. They control the vote so the evidence is theirs and by law cannot destroy it in turn he cannot seize it. It’s just something the federal government doesn’t do. We can only fight the case on a constitutional basis the way Giuliani is handling it. Besides that it’s up to the states to handle the rest. This is why federal elections and local... I believe should be separated. For now though it’s handled by the states.

It is state law, in each of the disputed swing states.
All Trump has to do in SCOTUS is to hold each state to their own laws.
That's it.
