Agreed. If you are going to support law enforcement, support constitutionally minded Sheriffs. There are plenty out there who won't enforce mask/lockdown mandates by governors.

The lack of action is the thing that I can't stand about modern conservatives, all the FOFA and feel good crap is so harmful as it stops people acting. Loving the police despite much evidence showing that stance to be misguided is part of that.
The other problem is modern conservatives are too easy to trick with "trust the plan" type psy-ops, the entire country can be stolen and as long as some goon is saying "everything will work out, this is all part of the plan" they do nothing.

In the DC Maga march the police deliberately directed peaceful people towards an awaiting Antifa mob, in the end the Proud Boys had to do the job of the police.

The writer had some good points up until he blamed all of the problems on white supremacy. Also blaming capitalism. I tend to say it’s a product of lack of opportunity. When you have years of pols selling out the country to foreign nations, eliminating jobs you eliminate opportunity. The last 4 years showed how we could have low unemployment and a thriving economy. Police are a necessary evil in society, they tend to be much better in rural small communities where they are accountable to their neighbors, and much worse in corrupt democratic run cities where they are gangs whose job is to protect the elites (think Big Lebowski). Backing the blue is kind of stupid unless you know who they're accounting to.
