Although I visited subreddits for hobbies, during the election got sucked into /r/conservative where there was a fair amount of interesting discussion.
Now that and others (there's something called Trump Zone and of course Republican) completely overrun with shills, doomers and others of questionable motives.
So now I'm just here all the time. Oh, that and a new anonymous Twitter account dedicated just to MAGA-loving boosters, of course the NPC comments leak in for kicks.
There was actually a time when reddit banned all trump subs, not even hiding their bias lol. I suppose if they allow them now, having them controlled and full of shills is probably on purpose, and allows them to pretend to be “impartial”
I remember when TD first got throttled, several people, not even mods of TD, made their own Trump boards and they were all banned for “circumventing the TD restrictions” Lol
When I stumbled upon https://www.reddit.com/r/TheTrumpZone/ I had to laugh when I saw a sticky that read 'Moderator Application - Apply Here' like I want to commit suicide (or at least a very bad time).
