Not much a fan of Ken Burns but I went to Gettysburg about a dozen times and the ground he did cover pretty much open woods with no cover, even if half he did was true still was impressive. Out of all the union officers he is one I can say was ok and genuine. Most union officers we no better then politicians and the connected rich thinking it was a quick rise up in society.
In case anyone doesn't know, he held the flank of the union army during the battle of Gettysburg. Joshua Chamberlain.
