I sat down and figured out that there was a 50 million discrepancy between the amount of SSIDs issues, the amount of people in the US, and the amount of SSID cancelled in the Master Death file when comparing numbers from around 2011-2012
Yup I had my entire credit history and score destroyed because somehow some illegal managed to start using my social security number. Some guy who was either associated with him or maybe even sold him the number (this was a black dude which is how I know it was a different guy) used my information, despite my name being white as hell, to get approved $0 down payment on a $48,000 luxury van in Arkansas. The SSN system is so ridiculously insecure and broken.
If you guys knew even 1% of the amount of fraud currently going on with the various unemployment insurance programs/covid assistance/paycheck protection loans, FEMA assistance etc. you would all wig the fuck out. For literally $40-50 and in about 10 minutes time if I really wanted to it would be easy to claim roughly 7-12k$ from a state (NY for example is a big one as is MI among others) and it’d be deposited and done within a day, max. I’m actually considering going undercover and doing an investigative journalism expose on it all but I’m kind of wary of doing so as a solo individual.
I read a few years ago that when SS checks are not cashed, the SS keeps the money but moves it into another account area. And lowers the SS balance as if the checks were cashed.
SS needs an audit, a forensic audit NOW.
I am thinking of applying for Social Security benefits for some of these people. See if they admit they are dead then.

The van has a vin, should be tied to a plate. Why can't they catch these guys but I get popped when my registration sticker gets lost in the mail?
