This is tricky. I have an example - my great aunt who died in 1997. Her maiden name is shown as having voted via mail in ballot living in a assisted living place in bucks county, with a change in voter status Feb 2020. However I looked at the birthday - its not listed correctly on the PA voter database.
I google her obituary using her married name - this shows her correct birthday. I google our family tree a relative made years ago with her married name. It shows her correct birthday. I google her only using her maiden name, the one in the PA voter database - nothing comes up for her birthday.
What DOES come up for her maiden name (what is registered in the PA voter database) is info from the 1940 census when she was 15 ...it shows her as having been born "around 1925" with no exact birthdate. So they make it nearly impossible to prove. I screen shotted everything, but it's not a slam dunk.
All I know is this - this is a tight Irish family and everyone knows everyone, all growing up in Northeast Philly and later moving to the burbs. There is no other person with her name - so this mail in vote with her maiden name is highly suspect to me.
