I want Trump to succeed. What I am about to state is not meant to act like a doomer. I find it interesting many are placing their hopes in the Supreme Court to do the right thing and void a stolen election. As a retired attorney, I have seen the decline of the judicial system firsthand where laws are ignored by judges who have no fidelity to the law. Latest example of this is the corrupt PA Supreme Court which ruled ballots without names were to be counted.

Although I hope the SC does the right thing, I will not be shocked if it doesn’t. Prior to the election the SC had the chance to prevent this disaster but failed to.

It issued two absurd inconsistent decisions thanks to that buffoon Roberts . It ruled the federal court could not extend the deadline for mail in ballots in Wisconsin because it was up to the state legislature to do so but ruled the Pa supreme could despite the Pa legislature not doing so. If a law student made this distinction without a difference on a test I would tell him to find another line of work. Whether a state or federal court changes state election law it is totally irrelevant. Neither has the authority to amend state election law because of the separation of powers.

The SC should rule all Pa ballots which came in after the election are illegal because it violates state election law. Will they do it? That remains to be seen. I cannot rule out an absurd ruling that those ballots should be counted because the voters were merely following the rules established by the Pa Supreme Court, albeit contrary to state election law and to do so would be to disenfranchise them. Of course to do so would also disenfranchise those who voted by Election Day either in person or had their mail in ballots in by Election Day and May have their votes cancelled out by illegal late ones.
