When Francis put himself above Jesus Christ by condoning gay marriage I knew he was garbage. Christ specifically stated in no uncertain terms that Christian marriages are between one man and one woman and the two shall become one.
Civil marriages can and should be between any consenting adults; there is a separation between church and state.
