New political parties have been tried and tried over the years. They all failed, for a reason. The two existing parties each steal the ideas/platform of the new political party, eliminating any difference between them. Then they use their existing apparatus to crush the new party in elections.
We would have much better luck taking over the republican party and turning it into President Trump's party, instead of starting over from scratch.
