Any of you recall the mass hysteria with masks, social distancing, toilet paper shortage, etc the end of 2017 through 2018??

I'm straight up bamboozled by this new narrative. I know a lot of people have their blinders on, but damn. Does everyone really believe that flu is all but GONE and COVID is running rampant through hospitals right now? Really?

My MIL is an MA, I have two cousins that are nurses, and a couple of my friends are RNA's. ALL of them are overwhelmed right now. Hospitals packed with people, not enough workers, people being asked to work even if they test positive as long as their symptoms aren't too bad. Heaven forbid you ask a question like "well is this actually because of COVID?" because I always get the angry response of "omg how could you not think this is because of COVID you moron."

Media has been ramping up the second wave narrative for 6 months, and here it is. Perfectly justifiable in everyone's little echo chamber head space because the narrative has been pounded into them all year. Don't ask questions, wear your mask, stay at home.

They wouldn't be doing this if they thought Biden really won the election.
