What's the point of this alcohol ban? So far as I can tell it has nothing to do with Covid -- there's no studies suggesting inebriation makes a person more suceptible to the disease -- so why all of a sudden is alcohol an issue on Thanksgiving? I don't get the point.

I used to live in Utah, which is “dry”. You have to buy liquor from a state run liquor store and the stores are closed on Sunday. You know what people do? They buy all their booze on Saturday. These laws are dumb.

For those of you who don't live in that area of the country PA has strict alcohol control. You can only buy it from state licensed locations that have crappy hours. This isn't much of a step forward from what their current laws are.
I assume most of the country is like Ohio. You can buy alcohol anywhere from 6am - 2am. Every gas station/drive through/grocery store sells it.
