That's a good point but I am going to award him points for admitting what seems to be a failure/incompetence with using the GPS equipment. It does not seem as though he is insisting that he has the record but ready to claim it when it can be verified directly by 3rd party.
I don't know, who is ever going to be able to go that fast again anyway?
