So the reason you don't see people fighting back against much of the destruction is that it's not Dems burning down Republican towns, it's Dems burning down their own homes. There were a few attempts and threats by BLM and Antifa to leave the cities that were generally preceeded by armed gatherings of Republicans and thus cancelled.
As far as opportunity, these people are life's failures. They don't want the opportunity to succeed, they want UBI so they can buy a bunch of weed and sit on the couch all day.
