Lets assume a Trump win **AND ** start looking for ways to replace the current chaos with something we can be proud of. I suggest TEXAS as the place to get this done. They knew enough to stay the hell away from Dominion systems. Why not petition the governor to take the lead and harness the computer industry in the state to do two things. 1. Identify a standard that is open-source, secure, an easily adopted by other states. 2. Offer a cash prize for the first 4 or 5 teams that can put something together.

Like the idea. But still won't vote again unless this is cleaned up and President Trump gets 4 more years.

  1. voter id

  2. no mass mailing of absentee ballots out willy nilly. It needs to be requested and proven

  3. absentee ballots must arrive before election day to be accepted. Why? Because absentee ballots will be counted the morning of the election.

  4. all counting is done by hand, with observers from each party and observers from each campaign.

  5. secure info silo until all counting is done. This means that the location gets to report ONCE, at the end of the counting, and they don't get cell phones or tvs or radios which might provide them details on how the election is going.

  6. if there's any wide inconsistency in reported data, eg. If there are more votes than registered voters, all those votes from that precinct get thrown out.

  7. no electronic voting machines. You get a paper ballot, you mark with ink.
