I'm laughing so hard at this comment string. It's bad that these ballots are getting shredded but this particular string is really hilarious.

The letter of the law is to not destroy ballots and envelopes, They were not real ballots therefore could be destroyed.

Then many would be found missing upon a review, which looks sus af. If no review, then the whole things moot anyway

There are a few reasons why they are doing this.

  1. To show that fraud was being committed by the Democrats in multiple states

  2. To show that ballots were illegally destroyed by Democrats

This is to further additional claims that are coming up. It would force an audit, and the Dems would not have any way to refute it. It would also add more weight to legal claims the some counties need to be decertified until everything has been fully reviewed in an open and bipartisan manner.

The recount has already occurred. An audit would identify discrepancies and point towards fraud.

So destroying the ballots would eliminate evidence of said fraud and they would claim ignorance and say it was an 'unfortunate mistake', like they usually do when they fuck up.

You weren't aware that your friend was robbing that bank. You were just driving him around. You still count as an accessory.

Yeah, no. This is more like trying to arrest the mailman for delivering an envelope full of weed.
