I considered myself a gay man for a long time but I've given up the label. I'm not really into going with anyone.
In my experience, gay men engage in oppression far more than straight men.
Gay men are constantly putting other gays down, projecting insecurities on to each other, and are the least "welcoming" people I have met.
I don't know why. It is very sad.
I have tried many times to be friendly and to go out of my way to overlook such hostility.
I've never seen that from straight men and certainly not to that degree.
I wanted to post this because the narrative is that gay men are the most welcoming, non-oppressive, bunch ever, and at the very least, that is completely untrue. If you want to say everyone is equally as mean to everyone, then fine. But certainly, please, do not claim gay men are a super special tolerant bunch.
People are people.
You will find a lot of "narratives" differ from reality. It's heavily propagandized. They arent going to be open about the emotional instability nor immaturity of that while community since it plays into there being deeper issues rather than the "born that way" narrative.
I have (had-lol) lots of gay friends in the past because of my involvement with the entertainment industry in NYC some time ago. Don't care if being gay's "you're thing"...that's up to you if you're an adult.

Anyway, everything you're saying is correct. Gay men in general are the most vicious, hateful and spiteful people you're ever going to see. Every comment is a criticism. So phony to your face, then the knives come out after you leave. Like "Mean Girls" x1000.
Almost all of them have serious mental illness or emotional problems. The honest ones will be the first to tell you.
However, they usually have good weed and are generous tippers. So they got that going for them.
My brother is gay. He is so tolerant he cut off our entire family because we voted for Trump and are vocal about it. He thinks we hate gays, when in reality, we only hate communists. I love my brother, but i wont give up my country or my family to have him back.
Well they're certainly more guilty of FASH-ION!!!!!
