Four billion rounds in government contracts need to be filled first. Then there is a shortage of primers from, you guessed it... China. US manufacturers can only produce about 4.6 million rounds/day because of that. Aannndd there's a whole lot of new buyers on the market.
Ah! That's great! Congrats! My husband and I were going to try to get some range time in before we buy just so we can check out some options. But now I'm wondering if we should just buy first and get range time in second....
I need to call around more and see if I can find something like that! I'm on the East Coast and a lot of places specialize in either shooting or selling but not both...
Thank you for mentioning that. We heard from a place that only would let us try one gun. It sounds like we should keep looking. Best of luck with your own purchase!
Why does this have a shitpost flair? My family has agreed the only gifts we're allowed to buy are ammo, guns, survival gear and honey (for making mead).
Can't afford another gun right now but survival gear and ammo are definitely on the shopping list. Checking it twice. Gonna find out who's naughty and nice.
Yippee Kay yay Mutha fuckas!
Missed getting to say this by 3 minutes!!
Now I got a machine gun !!
My wife and I are laughing hysterically as we will be buying guns for the first time this week.
Oh, what are you getting? Hubby and I are new as well and about to purchase something
Based on some inputs. We will be getting 9mm pistols.
I’m debating on getting Glocks or Sigs or combination.
Still undecided on the models.
Buy extra ammo. Ammo is the new toilet paper. Soon it will be as scarce as hen's teeth.
I hear ya! I went to several stores and all the ammo shelves were empty

It looks like I’m not helping 😂
Find out when your local Walmart gets their ammo order in and get there early.

Oh! We are going to a gun range and get some help. My local place allows you to try before buying :)

Yes, I would recommend trying first. I wonder if you could drive to another state so you could try and then buy from your local gun store.
I heard it becomes a very personal choice.

Good luck finding ammo. If you can find it, buy whatever they’ll sell you.

By Odin's beard!
Hail the All Father!
Really though, I could see Odin as Trump's patron God. Could be Athena though. Trump has those Odysseus vibes.
This here is wisdom pedes. Learn well.
Meet me at Nakatomi Towers
Dulles International Airport. The above screenshot is from Die Hard 2.
Ain’t that the sad truth.
Boxes of ammo make the perfect stocking-stuffer...
It ain’t Christmas till Hans falls off the Nakatomi building.
My favorite Christmas movie!
That's funny.

"We're going to need some more FBI guys, I guess"
Yeah they were just as “effective” then as they are now.
