When Patrick Byrne said today that Leonard Cohen's song "Everybody Knows" is the song for our time, I got chills.
Maybe we ought to re think that cable package.
Every time I go to mail a package, someone is returning the cable box and cutting the cord.
They are going to take the money and give to the Trump Legal Defense fund like I did on RedwinDOTcom.
I never had a cable box, and my provider quit offering unscrambled subscription service several years ago. I settled for the (very limited) unscrambled free stuff for a couple years, then when that went away found I could tune enough atsc channels most of the time to get by.
When I moved, that went away too.
Played around with kodi for entertainment and live streams for news, and have recently found pluto and a couple other free web sources.
All I get from my cable provider is their lowest tier of internet. Works just fine.
