Matt Bevin tried to fix the teachers union's fucked up pension system, and the teachers got pissed about it and ran a huge smear campaign against him. All we heard for months was about how "BeViNs TaKiNg AwAy MuH TeAcHeR MoNeYs" and then this slimy little bitch won by less than 5000 votes. Some folks on Twitter have been checking out the data from that election and do suspect there may have been some Hammer and Scorecard shit there.
There was a video floating around a couple weeks ago that showed the vote manipulations happening in real time on CNN on 2018 election night.
It's such a shame, really. Kentucky is an awesome state, and you guys got a loser Dem running the show. I believe you guys will get a better Governor the next time around, though!
