I Just want to see what some ideas you all have to ensure this doesn't happen again. here are mine:
1 national voter id with thumb scan ( if that's too big bro the we use the dye like in Iraq and Afghanistan) with mandatory update every ten years to coincide with the census

All mail in ballots must be counted first

States are rewarded by number of counties one by the candidate. this would break any holds the Urban centers would have.

EC is broken up by congressional districts of a state
The simplest and easiest solution is always the best.. it doesn't take a think tank to instantly make a perfect system.
Are you ready?
Everyone has to register to vote in advance (let's say 90 days leading up to) any election (local up to federal) and provide current proof of residency as well as an ID. No voter rolls, no nothing. Excersize your rights or don't use them. After each election the process must happen again before the next election.
