Always question your doctor about treatments. Do your own homework before procedures or taking any drugs they want to prescribe you. From what I know beware of the medical community.
It's awful. In the UK, I read that it was standard practice to provide oxygen when people came in with respiratory issues. They haven't been doing that. The NHS just waits and then puts them on a ventilator. I am sure they are doing the same in Australia and the USA.
