First time I voted was shortly after I turned 18 and voted for Bush’s 2nd term in 2004... I always fancied myself to be one of those “Merica” boys... 4 years later I started questioning the Republican Party... but I knew I couldn’t vote for Obama... so I voted McCain.... 4 years later I grew to hate the Republican Party for how they treated Ron Paul... so I didn’t vote in 2012 and quit carrying about politics... come 2016 all I heard from everyone was “Tronald Dump is bad” and I wasn’t sure about him either... I mean if he got the nomination... he’s obviously in on it... right? So I didn’t vote in 2016.... by the end of 2017 I knew I was going to register to vote and vote Trump... and I did... I have a KAG hat, a MAGA hat, a giant Trump 2020 poster framed (a really nice frame too... got it professionally done) inside my house. A Trump 2020 flag flying on my roof off my chimney (hoist your colors high).... I said all of that to say this... Even if the GOP steps up now to back Trump... I will never vote for them again... if Trump doesn’t endorse someone, I’m not voting for them.. PERIOD. Trump party, patriot party, whatever you want to call it.... I’m in

The remaining 28% are the ones who recruit RINOs and need to be the ones who form a new party.
If it remained 3 parties- at least for a few cycles, it would work. The danger would be if the remnants of the Republican Party merged with the Democrat Party right away. That would make it tough to get traction for he new Trump Party, and the RINOS would probably do this rather then being left to whither on the vine as the smallest of the three.

I think it's going to happen. After Trump is inaugurated, and he cleans up our voting system, securing our rights to free and fair elections, you're going to see both parties splinter. The fallout of this will have the Democrats separate into a party of the batshit crazy socialists and a party of the saner, more moderate Dems. The Republicans will splinter as well, with the Rinos joining the moderate Dems and the rest will be the Trumplicans in their own party.
