We have taken for granted the liberties our forefathers died for and assumed that those elected would respect what they died for.

That is a grave mistake.

it's not the deepstate or the uniparty's fault that they have taken power.

We let them.

Every American should be 100% informed about politics and be voting for people who are America First and America First only. Constitutionalists only. And if there are no constitutionalists running - then god fucking damnit you run for office because we cannot let this country go to communism.

I really hope that Trump's presidency reminds The People that this is our country, not the politicians' country. That The People run this country, and always will. but we can only run this country if we care enough to be involved in it.

Be involved.

It's late now, but it's never too late to stand up for liberty. Take a stand. It's now or never.

Great post, Pede!

It's still happen during this fraud too. More people are waking up, but we have a ways to go. Just today, I'm talking to some family and friends and they have no idea what we're doing here, or what is taking place in their country. They are just oblivious to it. America could totally be transformed in two months if we do not win this battle. Stay strong. Good will prevail!

This is the best post I've read on TD today.

And I've been refreshing New since 6:30am.

People have to pay close attention, and not just blindly vote. To secure the Republic, we have to put in effort to hold our representatives to account.

You're too kind.

It's all about electing people who actually represent us. I don't know a politician today outside of a select few who actually care about this country and it's normal people. Politics has gotten so out of touch with reality its insane.

How many people have actually met their representatives? Listened to their speeches? Read the bills they're voting on? Read appellate court decisions?

Sadly, not very many. That needs to change. And I think 2020 is a start.

Every now and then I day dream about running for office and I imagine going from town hall to town hall meeting and getting an understanding of what is going on in each town. State legislature reps don't even do that let alone Congressmen. It's sad how disconnected politicians are from their people and reality.

OR...they stopped teaching civics like they had 40 years ago. So people are not giving the "whole story."

Ben45 [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

this is more than just a civics lesson though. People should be interested in who is representing them. It's one thing to understand how your govt works its another to be interested and involved, and my main point is that people stopped caring about being involved. Yet you don't have a true republic without a populace that wants to be involved

I agree. The issue with our day and age versus our children's take of our day and age, is they are being (most but not all) fed "popular peoples" view points like...Cardi B. I know it sounds silly to you and I but Social (anti) Media lays a stupid amount of sway along with peer pressure to conform to what is popular. Thats what we have to battle against beside the obvious corruption.

Yeah...I am sure of that. My son is a few years younger...but defiantly on the right path. Daughter...not so much. More of "work in progress." Keep fighting the good fight, but also know that many people have to fall on their own before the lessons become more permanent.

Shit like LoTR and all those old school heroic books made by old grizzled war veterans are fucking true.

2020 is the age of heroes. To speak up and tell the truth is a revolutionary act.

I think the real test is yet to come, and the true heroes will be determined soon. We're still living cushy lives for right now

On the Christian side of things, many churches teach that it's "unbiblical" to get involved in politics. This demonstrates an ignorance of Scripture. Jesus, wasn't afraid to call out the leaders of his day, and He used some pretty interesting language to describe them.

Many churches these days are glorified social clubs with an increasingly aged membership. Many leaders know how devoting only two hours a week in church as opposed to dozens of hours under liberal indoctrination turns kids into relativistic, amoral socialists. But if you ask them to step into the public sector, they refuse on "moral" grounds. So, you basically end up with a bunch of old people complaining about why the youth are lost, when they raised them this way.

They got the nation hooked on xanax for "anxiety" which is diagnosed like a headache to keep everyone zombified and asleep while they took over and raped the nation.

That's only the most reason excuse. People stopped caring centuries ago imo
