The food is not great there, however the weather is beautiful and mild and so are the Hungarian women, I recommend going for a visit. If you do go, eat first.
I was there for a couple weeks in like 2004-ish. I only spent a day in Budapest, but it definitely was a cool city. The rest of the time I was somewhere in the deep country.

It’s also incredibly cheap. Sadly, they are still suffering from the hyper-inflation they experienced from losing WWII.
Would highly recommend visiting. They love America.
