In the early days of cryptocurrencies, there was some talk of assasination markets but I've not really heard of anything coming of it.

Heh. It looks like the one that was set up was basically fake and got a couple of thousand worth of BTC at the time and was essentially abandoned then a couple of years ago, the owner cashed out when the bitcoin were worth 1.something million.

I'd think a real assassination market would have to start out low-scale to establish trust. Poop in the driveway for $50, incident in a dark alley for $200 then work its way up. From what I recall from various crime documentaries, a basic hit goes for 3-5k but obviously public figures would be more.

Not that I'm advocating anything. Just idle speculation.
