Anybody know a list of jobs or workplaces that don't require masks? Besides working at home, a farm, driving a truck. South Dakota? I'd prefer not being that far north, but, I'd consider moving to another state and working for lower pay. How about in North Carolina?
This truly is an issue. Even if you literally fight the mask Nazis off in every other aspect of your life you don't have a choice when it comes to work. "Where the fucking mask or you can't pay rent." is something even I'm not willing to stand up to and my opposition to masks borders on religious.
Come to Arizona. We need some rational influx to offset the flood of Californians who want to bring California with them. But as I've said before, there's not a lot of enforcement of stupid rules when 80% of the population carries concealed. (most of the other 20% open carry)
I dont wear them in Yavapai county, but I am shocked at how many do! For being a conservative county Im surprised at how many are so fearful. Our Christmas celebrations just canceled, disgusting!

Honestly I'm not that big a fan of Arizona, at least not the part where I live, where you have to duck down to get under the sun (3500') and riding a motorcycle feels like being inside a rotisserie while having your hair blow dried, but hailing as I do from NY (state)... let's just say a lot of things I've gotten used to are considered felonies "back home". Probably what I enjoy the most is that you never know whether the guy or gal in torn jeans and a faded tee shirt is a bum or a millionaire.

for a long time in the far east they've had a culture of wearing masks any time you get sick with something like a cold or flu and go out in public. one of the secondary reasons for it is to give people a group-conscious awareness of the danger that is present, although that isn't really so much of a 'reason' as it is just an observation of the effects on people who see someone wearing a mask. they've been having this culrure for many years so they have plenty of experience with it.
so when one person wears a mask occasionally it makes everybody a little more worried of possible danger. based on that we can speculate that when everybody wears a mask every day for months at a time it has the same effect times a hundred.
in my opinions that's the biggest reason for masks - to give everyone chronic fear.
I feel certain masks increase the load on your immune system. Surgeons wear a mask through surgery, they don't walk around all day wearing it. Masks are dirty, and it's absolutely nuts that my "opinion" on this gets to be overruled by some faceless "expert." Everyone just needs to say no. That ends it.
