Question - should we use "Karens" in the same way the media does?
Why not- it seems to be racially motivated, as only white women can be Karens. We should not give the OK that its alright to be racist against whites.

The other interesting thing is that "Karen" has now devolved into a term for any white woman who expresses an opinion that you don't like. Rather than the traditional narrow definition of "where's the manager" or a self-entitled cunt. Seems honestly... wait for it... sexist.

Me too! I forget what people used to call women who nag others in public, though. Busybodies? Nags? There wasn't really a good word before "Karen."
A Karen of many titles? Pearl Clutcher. Morality Police. Busybody. White Feather. Bible Thumper. Baizuo. And the animal trifecta: Sow. Nag. Bitch. But they all mean different things. They're titles to be placed on the Karen. A bible thumper can easily be a Karen, VERY easily, if they're trying to press their views upon others in the public sphere. But if you use Bible Thumper on its own, it gives a different mental image. They're still using the tiny bit of power they have to give others a hard time, but it's not usually bound to a chain-of-command like a Karen is.
