I posted some info in another thread on Ricky Schroder that apparently many did not know-
I am a Veteran & have helped out at a Veterans Charity for a decade, l have spent time with Ricky Schroder & he has been helping Veterans behind the scenes the whole time l have been involved.
He did a cross-country 4-day Vets Motorcycle Ride for charity with us a few years ago raising awareness & money for Wounded Warriors to get them specially modified Houses & Vehicles etc. He slept on the ground & ate & shot the BS with us around the camp fire & rode his own bike & opened his heart up to us revealing stuff the paparazzi would pay big bucks for, he knew we could be trusted as we respected what he was doing & his trust was never betrayed .
I did 4 tours in COP's in what we called the Taliban Badlands ,the lawless Afghan tribal areas right on the Pakistan border .Ricky acted as his own camera man & filmed a Documentary series on XVIII Airborne Corps and the 10th Mountain Division, Spartan Brigade fighting in Afghanistan, he was given access as he was friends with a 3 Star whom he had known for over a decade.
He spent months with the guys on the ground & on extended patrols, when he left he had prime T Bone steaks & care packages flown into the same remote COP's l had fought in to show his appreciation to the guys .
He joked to us that 99% of the young guys he filmed in Afghanistan had no idea who he was & most were not as old as his own son, he quickly learned to listen for orders shouted at "Hey Camera Guy" during fighting.
If you look up his name he has his own Production company that has done a number of Documentary / series ,from memory they just did one on Syria a while ago,I do not know if you can watch them without paying .
Here found it-
My Fighting Season-A documentary series following American Soldiers in Afghanistan. Their footage. Their stories.
The Fighting Season - As the U.S. contribution to the war winds down and a pivotal election looms, the first free democratic election in its history, the Afghan Army and the remaining Coalition Forces battle to secure the nation.
Starting Strong-A civilian gets a behind the scenes look at Army Careers before deciding to enlist or remain a civilian.
The Volunteers
TELEVISION

IMO he will do a Documentary on Kyle as on a veterans group l am a member of some have been involved in providing security to family/Legal involved & they are saying Ricky put in 1/4 of a Million dollars, part in trust for the legals.
Bad ass. That applies to yourself and Rick. Love to be a fly on the wall when the guys discover his secret identity. And on a side note, I'm reasonably confident the celebs who appear in Wounded Warrior TV spots aren't doing it for the money, so my respect for them goes into the green.
