I am living in NY and desperately want out. Those who plan on doing the same, the hardest question becomes: where to go, family friendly, conservative, and good schools that won’t turn my kids into transgendered SJWs. Also, being Jewish, strong Trump supporter and pro life conservative, I am a minority of a minority. Right now, considering the Carolinas, Florida, and Midwest states like Iowa, South Dakota (the gov here is based!) and Indiana. I was looking at Colorado, but it looks like the California progs ruined that state.

Seriously though, Nebraska/Iowa are great. Raising three children here and it satisfies your criteria. Mostly the lefties are quiet - center left not psycho left, but there's a similar dynamic to Illinois where the city of Omaha is tyrannically blue and the rest of the state is deep Trump red. Luckily for us we split electoral votes (2 always go red, 1 always goes blue, though I suspect district 2 goes blue courtesy of fraud).
Cost of living is also decent although hiding all the inflation and wealth transfer in the stock market is gonna hurt everyone. I'd guess, like the '08 housing crash, it will be less severe for Nebraska. Back then we weren't running around giving away houses to everyone and their brother. Not saying NE doesn't make bad decisions but they don't make bad decisions in extremes so the fallout is often muted compared to other states.
Not sure whats up with the mask mandate thing. The city of Omaha has imposed one, as well as some other larger metro areas. The governer (Rickets, who is mostly ok), said he'd push back on mandates but then pussed out. We try to stay outside of city limits, which isn't too hard, but I'd recommend that no matter where you live.
