Yes I speak Urdu. I'm glad you can speak hindi and Urdu as well. I can't type that transliterated hindi I find it more confusing than just reading it in the target language.
So you can read Devanagri as well as Nastaliq? I ask because every Pakistani I know can only read Nastaliq but can't read Devanagri. I think that is absurd, because every Indian Muslim can read both and it only took ke 2 weeks to learn to write Devanagri.
I agree in the transliteration. Devanagri was perfectly developed for North Indian languages. It makes no sense to type it in Roman characters now that cell phones can easily produce the proper characters.
Thanks man. You sound cool, too :) This is one thing I wish were possible here on this site--making friends "in real life." When I was more active on Facebook and Internet forums, I used to make real friends, whom I would meet in real life, if we hit it off. Social media can be used for good.
But owing to the fact that we are being actively persecuted by evil leftists, I can't admit my real identity here and try to make friends to meet up with in person, nor can anyone else. It's not even about being tough vs. cowardly; it's just not smart, when leftists threaten family, kids, and even pets instead of challenging a 1:1 manly confrontation.
So in another timeline, I am sure we could meet up for some beer and shoot the sh*t and it would be grand. Maybe after Trump is inaugurated a second time and we clean house, it will be possible...
Anyway, DLI is a military-sponsored language institute known for its intense immersion program which can often get someone from "0 to 60" in half or a third of the time as a normal college course. Maybe even faster for those who are astute. As someone who has dedicated his life to learning languages, I wish I had had the opportunity to do a course like this--in the private arena, the cost would be tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Kya aap Urdu bolte hain? Main thodi Hindi Urdu bolta hun. Main do bar Bharat gaya hun.
