How about James K Polk. Clearly laid out his objectives for his term (standardize the tarriff, take possession of Oregon, take California from Mexico, independent Treasury), accomplished them all in one term, then had no reason to run for a second.

Trump built the wall, started no wars, cut taxes, raised tarriffs, etc. The difference in this case is that the Trump Train has no brakes.....choo choo....Maga Doctrine warrants 4+ years.

Polk is also super underappreciated to the point where I had to remember he actually WAS president. Yeah, there's also a few similarities between these two.
