I heard them last night raging about 80% occupancy in ICU beds. "OMG end of the world" wait, I thought masks worked...ok, that's for another time. I digress.
I got news for you, that is NORMAL.
These retards think that its the end of the world. Got news for you, hospitals are like hotels, if they don't fill beds, they don't make $$$$. Normal ICU rates are 75-80% occupancy. People are still crashing cars, trying to kill themselves in various different ways, getting shot, stabbed, heart attacks, strokes, fucking life is still happening despite the china cold.

Yeah around here we've finally started seeing cases (still mostly mild but policy changes makes it have more of an effect because nurses have to take time off and all that).
2 people in the county died recently. Its a small county but I keep thinking- nobody would even think twice about this virus if it weren't for the news- we'd think it was just a bad flu!
