And that’s what he got charged with, lying to a Fed and interfering with their investigation.
Even though the Feds know that that investigation was spurious and unconstitutional because he literally broke no laws so they had absolutely no reason to interrogate him.

I feel like I am the only one kind of annoyed by this news. I wanted Flynn to fuck the Obama judge in court. Obviously Flynn is innocent and deserves a full pardon if he lost in court, but wasn't the trial still on? I want these corrupt leftists to LOSE in the system.
This case has been ongoing for 4 years, as soon as they dedicated his lawyer to stop the fraud they would move forward with the case. Its a strategic block and they are viewing Sydney Powell as a resource best spent on the fraud case

The president knew he was drawing Sidney away from Flynn’s defense. This way it is moot.
I think it was more that sidney had to disassociate from trump because it would appear to be a conflict of interest for sidney to be supporting trump in exchange for a flynn pardon.

That's what I was referring to. Accepting a pardon = admission of guilt. Because he has admitted to a crime, Flynn therefore cannot serve in the admin.

The pardon is odd to me considering that Flynn never broke the law. Of what did he get pardoned, exactly?

Probably pardoned of the guilty plea he retracted but was being prosecuted by the judge for cause the plaintiff dropped the case. <~ That absolute clusterfuck of a sentence is what the left does to our institutions.

It's like the Nixon pardon. It precludes any criminal charges in the future (I think - depends on how it's worded on paper - and even then I'd have to double-check but Nixon wasn't indicted on anything because he resigned ahead of Congress finishing their votes on the matter - but it absolved him of any future entanglements with the charges involved).
