classic move at the end of a presidency. pardons are always pretty controversial so it is saved for the last week typically. It may imply he doesn't think he will have a chance to do it later, but that's horseshit since he did it now and not in january.

should be noted that this is probably a very strategic pardon and not some kind of simple thing.

I thought the timing of the pardon was a minor play to see if they could get the MSM to make allusions to the traditional Turkey Pardon and wind up talking about Flynn and getting more info out than the MDM intends.
