I'm sorry it's not entirely related to your comment, but your reference to Pravda makes me happy. Since Faux News has cucked, the mainstream media in our country has become Pravda.
Also, remember this quote. "Forgive them lord, for they know not what they do".
Yeah Pravda and RT obviously can't go after Putin, but when they're talking about the rest of the world they are refreshingly honest and do actual investigative journalism. (which our media has forgotten)
I wouldn't necessarily trust them when it comes to goings on here, but I'd trust them more than CNN.
Russian news is surprisingly on point, these days. It's nice to see a Russia that's embraced capitalism, instead of socialism (even if they have a Putinist regime that I don't particularly care for).
That passage is to teach us to offer people second chances. It doesn’t mean you’re supposed to act submissively and forgive someone that continually offends against you. You’re only supposed to forgive them after they’ve changed their negative ways.
Which I'm sure some of the normies who voted for Biden this election, will. I have faith in most of my fellow countrymen. Maybe not ANTIFA/BLM morons, but the average person who voted for Biden, yeah, I believe they can change for the better.
I agree. I’d go further and assert that all of them are capable of change. They’ve been brainwashed into believing evil ideologies and committing evil acts. But that brainwashing can be undone. I hope they do earn our forgiveness by changing their ways.
But I’m also totally fine with fighting them on all fronts without mercy too. As we are advised to do multiple times in the bible.
The option for forgiveness is one that we are taught to offer, but the one who needs forgiveness ultimately has the responsibility to change their ways and seek forgiveness. If they don’t, they are effectively consenting to being dealt with prejudicially. This is all clearly stated multiple times in the NT.
Our ability to offer forgiveness is never to be used to allow ourselves to be taken advantage of. They’ve gotta change, or they’ve gotta go. (To prison, of course!)
You know what your comment reminds me of? Daryl Davis, the man who de-radicalized a lot of the KKK. All it took was exposing them to a black man to de-radicalize a lot of klan members. The same thing could potentially be done with those who subscribe to the Anarcho-Communism that ANTIFA espouses.

Spare the rod, spoil the commie.
ironically, Pravda is much more truthful nowadays than NYT, WAPO etc.
Oh yeah, isn't Pravda still a thing in Russia?

Except the problem with that is they know EXACTLY what they are doing.
…for they know not what they do.”
IIRC?
