BAM: Detroit witness: "Every time I observed a straight ticket or I saw Donald Trump's name circled in, they would shove it back in the envelope and put it back in the pile." "Every time?" "Every time. It was so many votes, they even had USPS boxes stacked up by the threes."

Dude, I've been trying to understand block chain for a year now. Good luck trying to explain that to the general public.
Paper ballots. FULL transparency. Two observers to a table, one in a red shirt, one in a blue shirt. Double-check the tallies, and tally sheets are signed by observers. Stack the ballots in bins, and keep the bins in a location where they're on 24/7 livestream. Recounts would be easy.
I do understand blockchain, and it's day may come. The math is solid, but as always, the human element is weakest.
As you say, paper, two observers, signatures, and forensic chain of custody is the way. Y'all also need voter ID, and to make election day a national holiday.
Wouldn't making it a national holiday just encourage young people and students to vote?
Yes, so?
