If Trump was pardoning Flynn because Trump thought he'd lost, he'd just pardon Flynn in January, on his way out. So, this is either (1) good news in that Flynn has a role to play in the weeks to come or (2) Trump just doing the right thing before Thanksgiving for a good man that has been unfairly destroyed.

This is what I'm pulling for as well.
(3) tactical
The only thing I am concerned about is Flynn not being able to come back into the Trump administration. Maybe that is good, maybe not but it would have been better to have the judge dismiss the charges as requested by the DOJ. Now, it would have taken more time to do since they would have had to go to the SC to get it done but I will rely on Trump who is playing a game that none of us are aware of to make the right moves.
If all this Kraken stuff is real, I imagine there will be much less resistance to installing whomever Trump wants through the Senate. Even if there is resistance, there are plenty of places for Flynn that don't require Senate approval.
"If all this kraken stuff is real"? I'm sorry I don't speak low energy, you need some high energy in you rn
A pardon does not acknowledge guilt. I think you are thinking of commutation.

Flynn needs to immediately start spilling the beans!!
Trump is not gonna lose. Both 1 and 2 are probably both reasons why.
