My parents have been doomers. Trying to give them faith that things will work out has been an uphill battle. They have just been demoralized over decades of seeing the Republicans roll over for the Democrats. Trump will win his second term, I have very high confidence of this it is important for us to keep the candle lit for people who will join us once they are no longer demoralized.
My boomer parents have not been doomers at ALL in fact quite the opposite. I used to have to inform them of goings on and now they know things before I do.
Boomers are a force to be reckoned with, which is why IMO, the left gives them such crap. They're afraid of them because Boomers know how to suck it up, buttercup, and persevere no matter what for justice to be served. Their parents and brothers fought Hitler and won. With no melodrama. Their parents were literally the Greatest Generation. On YT when a someone uses "boomer" disparagingly I know immediately their a lefty moron and treat them accordingly. My mom is a boomer. 87yo, two years ago had a stroke, so her short term memory is non existent. When Sen Collins didn't vote for ACB, mom was outraged. Obsessing. My sister gave her Collins's office # and Mom called it 4 or 5 x a day for three days.lol Reamed Collins out every time. God bless my mom. Boomers are awesome!

Of course there are based boomers and I’m not going to judge the whole because of a few, but let’s not forget boomers were largely responsible for the takeover of our university systems with “free love” communist BS in the 60s.
Tbf the rest of them went to Nam and came back totally fed up with the hippie shit, and went on to hold America together in the public and private sector for the next 25 years while all the hippies smoked weed and destroyed the housing market.
